Great Shorts!
These shorts are a great compromise between short running shorts and the baggy Ultimate shorts I wore in college. I bought a size up because I wanted a longer, roomier feel and it worked out perfectly! Doesn’t ride up, has an adjustable drawstring waist, and gives me plenty of room to move. Love!!
Way less baggy than Hydro shorts
These are the first ultimate shorts I've found that aren't baggy and loose on me! I first got a S for a team order, and loved them but found that I still needed to fold the waistband over. The XS doesn't have this problem- they're the right length, have a slim fit, but aren't restrictive at all when lifting or playing. I'm 5'2" and prefer a slim fit, so if you like having extra room I'd size up.
4 Triton shorts, 5 stars
I got three pairs of Triton shorts as part of a uniform with various teams. Loved them so much, that I bought a pair of the white and blue shorts. The white shorts are a little translucent, just btw. Don't wear your pink underwear with them. I wear a size 4 in Old Navy jeans and Loft dress pants. I get medium Triton shorts and love the fit! They move great when lifting and running, and they're very lightweight.
Pretty Good Shorts
I have quite a few different five shorts, and I thought since in the past the shorts have been pretty baggy I could go with a medium. They fit pretty good, but are a little snug in the butt. I ordered a large for my second pair and they fit great. If you are on the edge, I'd order a size up, especially if you have athletic thighs/butt. The length is great and material is ultra lightweight which is great for ultimate.
Nice shorts, tight butt
I have women's medium hydro shorts and thought I might buy these in a large, but a friend convinced me to get mediums. They're pretty comfortable. I like the length. However, I have fairly substantial butt and thighs and it feels kind of snug across those regions. They're actually pretty comfy to play in, because the side panels are a bit stretchy, but they were definitely just a little more fitted than I really wanted. I'd size up if you have muscular thighs, in particular.
Great!
I love that they're short, no extra material hanging around bugging me, and they're lightweight
Great short
These shorts are great. Perfect length and roomy legs for frisbee movement as well as weight lifting. My only issue arose when I wore them with compression shorts/tights underneath. Because the compression tights come up over my belly button, the slippery nature of the shorts material and elastic waistband allowed the shorts to ride up all the way from my hip where I was wearing the them, to above my belly button. Not a flattering look, so I've put the drawstring back in the shorts and will try them again with it tied.
Ten out of Ten would buy again... if I had all the money
These shorts are a fantastic alternative to the typical ultimate shorts (men's Triton or Hydro). These were the first pair of women's cut shorts that were made with the intended purpose of ultimate in mind. These shorts are not overwhelmingly short like running shorts tend to be, and they provide a nice range for pivoting. The material is thin and lightweight and doesn't seem to soak up booty sweat like other materials do. The cut is fantastic and the stretchy mesh on the side of the shorts are a great touch in terms of style and utility. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend other's to invest in one of these great shorts.
Mixed reviews...
I love how lightweight they are and I love the length and how roomy the legs are! However, the waist-band doesn't have much stretch and they were a little snug around my butt. I'll admit that my butt's not exactly small, but usually a medium in anything fits me fine. Would still probably get another pair sometime though.
